Joe Romito
Guitar / Vocals

Back in 1997, Joe was playing in an acoustic trio called Wooden Music. One of the members, Joyce Miller, was singing with Charlie In The Box at the time, filling in for the lead singer who was on maternity leave. One day at rehearsal, she mentioned that one of the guitarists/vocalists had decided to leave the band and said Joe would make a good replacement, so he auditioned. A few days later, John called and offered him the gig. He was extremely excited, said yes and he has been very proud and privileged to be a member of Charlie In The Box ever since! He has primarily played Fender Guitars through Fender amps for the past 20 years or so, but a few years ago he picked up a Gibson Les Paul and it has been his main guitar ever since. He plays Piano, harmonica and various other stringed instruments as well.

Joe also plays in an original band called Joe's Garage, who recently entered into a licensing/publishing contract with SWV (Songs With Vision) Records, out of LA, California. Their CD, "Lost In Overdale" is currently being presented world wide, for song placements in film, television, video games and other various projects.
